Another Envi Sci Job

To Whom It May Concern:

I am very interested in the Environmental Scientist opportunity that I read about on washingtonpost.com. My career goals and background are directly in line with this opportunity. The University of Virginia’s Environmental Science degree is broad in scope and gives a solid base of courses. Experience both in lab and the field was key in my studies. I have also worked abroad in a professional environment and had experiences managing and planning a number of successful projects.

In the course of my academic and professional life I have conducted field investigations, environmental assessments, laboratory investigations and analyzed numerous types of data. I am familiar with GPS and mapping software as well as navigation via topographic maps. My work in Washington DC and Japan has prepared me to work with top professionals to negotiate successful and mutually beneficial results.

I believe that my skills would allow me to make an immediate and important contribution to your company. It would give me great satisfaction to work with environmental professionals in a challenging new environment. I would welcome an opportunity to speak in person about how my experiences can best benefit your company.

Sincerely,
Amber Marriott
